Our Westinghouse SB is only 6 years old and for the last six sb9007 only heats up and drys when it wants to. Other Built-in Dishwashers Previous. Sorry I can't be of any more help.

If your unit has one inlet hose then this is the case. If you can't solder, find someone who can or buy a new PCB.
A new PCB can cost several hundred dollars, but I repaired mine by resoldering any dry joints that I found. I westnghouse the control board and a v ac relay terminal was burnt out. There is likely nothing else wrong with it.

Hi Naomi, The heater element for the water is inline, and if your dishwasher is similar to mine, it will heat its own water. Since then it starts making repeats of double beeps after about 3 minutes into the cycle and stops.

Seems the answer may be to avoid this sb970. Please see previous posts regarding dry joints in the PCB in the door. Page 24 24 something not working The wash results are not satisfactory The dishes are not clean The wrong washing program has been selected. Where you go from here is up to you. Unfortunately I do not have it anymore and unless you want to just look at it for the sale of a house, I wouldn't use it if it was westinghose to me.
